VR ProOptics are a leading provider of virtual reality prescription lenses. Our specialist team of designers and technicians have extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in headset design, construction and optical systems.
We have been selling virtual reality headset prescription lenses direct to consumers since October 2020. All our prescription lens products are designed and manufactured in the UK, at our facility on the outskirts of Oxford.
The original VR ProOptics prescription lens products were developed by the design team at ADLENS, a unique innovation company looking to push optical design boundaries, with extensive experience within the emerging augmented and virtual reality sectors.
Today all our VR ProOptics prescription lenses are designed, tested and developed in conjunction with the consultancy company Oxford Optical Laboratories. A core belief of theirs is that “Better vision can be designed and engineered”. Our current design team were also part of the team at ADLENS who originally developed VR ProOptics. VR ProOptics is also the exclusive distributor of VOY adjustable VR lenses in the UK and EU.
